What if Talent Point already has my profile in their database?
This could save you a significant amount of time re-entering your resume, contact information, etc. Even if we only have a nominal amount of information, it would still be worth checking.
Where did Talent Point get my this information?
It could be from any number of sources, on-line databases, one of your responses to a prior job posting, an event (such as Lotusphere or Web Developers Conference) or from another candidate. Some sources of these are only able to provide a name and minimal contact information, while others we get the entire resume.
What if I'm not looking for a job right now?
Just change your search status field appropriately and our communications with you will be modified accordingly. We want you to control the communication channel and this is one way that you can.
How can I control the communications channel between Talent Point and myself?
In the preferences section of your dossier, there are questions that you can edit at any time that will change the way, when and how we communicate with you.
